UnSichtbar, Geschwister leben mit dem Sterben
2010 to 2020 Munich InVisible, Siblings living with dying »Three things have remained from paradise: the stars of the night, the flowers of the day and the eyes of the children.« Alighieri Dante Siblings of children with incurable and life-threatening illnesses experience the deep worry of their parents and often remain alone with their needs and fears. They try to make themselves invisible so that they do not become a burden to their stressed parents fall. The photographer Nanni Schiffl-Deiler together with Prof. Monika Führer, head of the Children's palliative care center in Munich started this photo project UnSichtbar/InVisible in 2010. This project encourages the children to show their environment from an own perspective and with their eye through an individual visual language. They take pictures of things and situations which means a lot to them - becoming visible. The children's very touching messages are published in a book.
